I first bumped into Ryan Paul Plewacki at Harmony Park, sometime prior to this show at the Cabooze, and we struck up a rapport over our shared love of bands like The Ramones and Iggy Pop & The Stooges.
God Johnson had a standing run of Wednesday shows at The Cabooze, and this was one of two I was able to catch - during both of which, Ryan invited me on stage to play harmonica on a random tune during the set.
Ryan parted ways with God Johnson two months later, and would resurface a few years later, contributing tracks to tribute LPs for Vic Chesnutt and Magnetic Fields, and later still playing guitar with the Honeydogs.

This is definitely an audience recording - no SBD feed in the mix.
